Self Portrait
(anjani) lynn white was born in New York City and currently lives in
Los Angeles with her daughter and two Lhasa Apsos.
In 2001 Lynn left a lucrative career in entertainment finance to follow
her passion for video, photography, and design. Through most of her life
White battled with Uveitis, a disease of the eye, and nearly lost her sight
on many occasions. Her battlle with this disease opened up a whole new
way of understanding how color can be perceived. A radical change in diet
led to White's recovery from this disorder. The memories of this condition
has faded and in it's place remains a deeper awareness of the use of color
as a medium for creative expression.
After nearly loosing her sight on several occasions and a career in entertainment finance, lynn chose to follow her passion for art, photography, video, and design. When faced with loosing her sight, she learned to see in a different way. Color and the absence of color took on a whole new meaning. "These incidents have made me more aware and given me the ability to look deeper", explained lynn. She credits her recovery to a change in diet.
